From sketch to Real
One of my favorite and most exciting moments in life it's when a customer fall in love with any of our gemstones and says me, I need a pendant or a ring with it, but let's do something new!
Then I start looking carefully at the gemstone and wait for a moment of inspiration or sometimes just start drawing and drawing ideas or concepts.
I imagine how it will be worn by the customer and how will light reflect on all directions.
Usually I do 3-4 different draws to show to customer and let them choose his/her favorite option and give an estimation of the total cost.
With this Amethyst I was so sure about first draw that directly show it as unique option and had a big YES for reply!
With the OK from customer we proceed to work on the 3D model to make a preview that will help us to confirm if our idea fits perfect for the stone and also a very realistic image that helps customer imagine it being finished!
Let's see some samples of 3D of this piece:
Or Better Look at the realistic 3D videos we can do to preview your bespoke Jewelry!
Now with all these previews customer is so anxious to have their new jewelry and we are so to see it real!
Time to make the wax and double check that it fits perfect on the gemstone!
Great! Now is time for casting!
This piece was made in 18K Gold.
But we can also work 14k or 22k and the Gold color you prefer: Yellow, Rose or White.
On my opinion Amethyst looks best with Yellow =)
After cast setter will be setting all the Diamonds and the center stone and Voilà!
I hope you enjoyed reading at this article and found it helpful to understand the whole process. Obviously, I had to short some parts of the process for not making it too long.
